With Multipoint technology you can switch between your voice-enabled Bluetooth mobile phone, PDA or laptop. The 510 features a noise-canceling microphone for clearer conversations, and it folds for easy storage. The boom also swivels for perfect positioning on either ear. One-touch call control buttons are placed for easy access, and you can easily redial the last number dialed and initiate voice-activated calls from the headset. Because the 510 is Bluetooth-enabled (it supports the Bluetooth 1.2 specification) you can roam up to 33 feet from your Bluetooth device. Meanwhile, the 510 supports adaptive frequency hopping (AFH) which helps avoid interference from wi-fi networks. The Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset works well with my cell phone and my computer (for Skyping). The ability to use the same headset for both these purposes was a big selling point and money saver for me! The sound quality is excellent. I hear and am heard clearly and well. Excellent quality audio, very good noise cancellation, very good battery life, and it fits securely (the plus side to its large size). But, susceptible to wind noise and top mounted mute/power button is a little difficult to use.Source : Buyer beware, no Vista Support in Certain Product Versions

While it sounds like Plantronics has figured it out in later versions, adapters w/ 1P15 printed on them will not work w/ Windows Vista. When I contacted Plantronics support ("We Pride Ourselves On Delivering Industry Leading Customer Support"), I was told that they support their devices, not operating systems. Hmmmm, now if the device requires an operating system to work...let's just say, as someone in the IT and telephony industries, that is definitely not industry leading support. I'll be purchasing another brand of products and sending my customers to other brands as well. Good luck to you if you buy Plantronics!Source : Comfortable, great sound quality

I have at least three other bluetooth headsets and, because my hearing isn't that great anyway, I have trouble with reception with all of them. But with the Voyager 510, I'm actually able to turn the volume down. The snug fit of the earpiece combined with the high quality of the receiving unit seems to have solved my problem. I use it mainly when I drive, but I'm often surprised to realize I still have it on long after it was needed.

I don't like the bulkiness when carrying it. I've been putting it in a little zip-lock baggie before putting it in my pocket. I could have bought the carrying case that comes with it, but that looked like it would add even more bulk. It might work for woman with a big purse, but I don't want more stuff hanging from my belt.Source : Great when it's connected

This was my first experience with a Bluetooth device. I chose it based off the reviews here on Amazon. My job is helping others build repeat and referral business and love this small product to make my job that much easier. I highly recommend this unit and have bought additional ones for others in my company. Traditionally we sell business style greeting cards but still need to use the phone in our daily affairs. Being hands free and able to still promote iZon Greetings is helpful and productive.

The only draw back is it seems to disconnect with no reason. If this feature can be improved it would make it a five star product.
